Bright Umbrella is a small professional theatre company which operates from its own theatre, The Sanctuary Theatre in East Belfast. We are affiliated to Equity and pay our actors and creatives at Equity Union rates - never less than Equity minimum, sometimes more according to budgets available to us. We produce our own shows and receive visiting shows (amatuer and professional). From time to time we organise funded, unpaid community productions, these generally have cross community and good relations aims. We hold open auditions and recruit actors through local and UK wide talent agencies. Keep an eye on our social media and website and you won’t miss much in terms of calls and show information!
